A Sanctuary for Healing, Growth, and Connection
At Into the Wild Farm, we believe in the profound healing power of nature and animals. Our farm therapy program is designed to offer a peaceful and restorative environment where individuals can connect with animals, engage in hands-on farming, and experience therapeutic benefits of working with the land and just being at peace in nature.
Farm therapy, also known as animal-assisted therapy or horticultural therapy, is a holistic approach to mental and emotional wellness. By engaging in activities such as caring for animals or simply being present in nature, participants can find relief from stress, anxiety, grief and depression while developing a deeper sense of purpose and self-awareness.
Children and Adolescents: Our farm offers a safe, engaging space where young people can develop emotional regulation, self-confidence, and social skills through animal interactions and hands-on learning.
Individuals Coping with Trauma or Grief: Spending time with our gentle animals and in the calm nature provides a comforting environment for processing emotions and finding peace.
People with Anxiety or Depression: Working with animals and nature offers a grounding experience, fostering mindfulness and reducing feels of isolation.
Families and Caregivers: Families can benefit from farm therapy together, strengthening their bonds through shared experiences, while caregivers find relief in the peaceful surroundings of the farm.
Grief Groups: Groups working together through grief love coming to the farm to spend time in nature and with our animals to help find relief.
Farm therapy at Into the Wild Farm is available to individuals (groups too!) of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you're seeking personal growth, emotional healing, or simply a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, our farm provides a nurturing space for you to slow down, reconnect, and heal.
